Maria Sherbina was born in 1968 in Moscow to an artistic family, and graduated from a Moscow Art University which was named after Stroganov.

The artist is well known in Russia and the United Kingdom. In Russia, she exhibits in the Central House of Artists in Moscow, and in London, she exhibits in the reputable Medici Gallery. Her works can be found in many private collections in Russia, the Ukraine, England, Scotland, Ireland and the United States.
